IMPACT OF TURNOVER INTENTION ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (I.T) ORGANIZATION
Abstract
The focus of this research is to figure out what causes employee turnover and how to keep them in an organization. Employees leave their jobs for a number of reasons, owing to key research findings, including job stress, job satisfaction, job security, work environment, motivation, salaries, and rewards. Furthermore, employee turnover has a significant budgetary impact on an organization due to the expenses involved with it, and it can significantly impact an organization's productivity, sustainability, competitiveness, and profitability. However, the firm must understand its employees' needs, which will enable it to implement specific tactics to boost employee performance and reduce turnover. Individuals and businesses will experience increased job satisfaction, motivation, and productivity because of applying initiatives, which will reduce employment issues, absenteeism, and employee turnover. The causes for poor retention differ from person to person, but it is an employer's responsibility to provide as much satisfaction to these employees as possible to keep the company's diligent and competent personnel. It is suggested that IT organizations continue to add value to their employees' well-being and professional growth to boost their satisfaction levels and keep them with the organization for longer period.
