A proportionate stratified random sampling technique was adopted to determine the sample size of the sample. Cronbach's Alpha reliability test for the research instrument was 0.75, indicating a reliable instrument. Data collected was analyzed using Simple Linear Regression. The findings indicate that democratic leadership style has an impact on employees’ performance in Nigerian private universities.
